**Special Holiday Classes**
Are you wondering what to do with the kids over the long holiday break? Want something that’s fun, safe, creative and affordable?
How about sending them to the house?
Nielsen’s House of Learning that is!

Minimum enrollment is 4 students
Each class is for 3 hours per day for 3 days for a total of 9 hours.
Tuition is $45 per class
(works out to just $5.00 per hour!)

Morning Classes 9:00 AM - 12:00 pm
Make and Take it Crafts for Kids
Ages 6+ with Ms. Sarah
Students will make one new project each day. One day will be a wood painting project, one day will be a clay day and the third day will be a surprise. Material Fee $20
Butter, Sugar and Flour-Making Sweets
Ages 7+ wth Ms. Karen
Winter wonderland is in the kitchen this season! Kids will be whipping up and showing off the delicious holiday treats they’ve created. They’ll make a variety of sweet treats from traditional raspberry thumbprint cookies to delicious old world divinity, hand pulled taffy, and mouth watering fudge. Material Fee $10
Fun With Words – Creative Writing
Ages 7+ with Ms. Ona
Kids will have fun with words while improving their writing skills. Students will produce a book of thier own personal writing as a keepsake.
LUNCH BUNCH $5

This class is open only to students who sign up for both morning and afternoon classes. Students will have a supervised lunch time with board games. (Each student must bring a sack lunch and a drink)
Afternoon Classes 1:00 pm - 4:00 PM
Putting on a New Face – Mask Making
Ages 6+ with Ms. Ona
Students will have an opportunity to make 2 masks in this three day class. Masks may be made from plaster gauze or newspaper mache. Each student will then decorate their own creation. Material Fee $12
Kids Take over the Kitchen
Ages 7+ with Ms. Karen
Learn how to cook from “scratch”. You’ll feel like a superstar chef as you get rave reviews on your new creations. The best part is you’ll eat healthy and nutritious meals that you created. Material Fee $10
Language in Motion – Sign Language
ages 7 + with Ms. Sarah
Students will learn basic vocabulary each lesson and half the letters A-M in the December class and letters N-Z in January class.

Ages 10 + with Mr. John
