New students are tested to determine areas of strengths and weaknesses. Students who have problems reading, often lack the skills of blending, segmenting, and manipulating sounds. The PhonoGraphixTM method by Read America is used for reading therapy. Students will progress at their own rate; however, the estimated length of the reading therapy is approximately four months. PhonoGraphixTM by Read America teaches blending, segmenting, auditory processing, letter code awareness, advanced code, multiple syllable word reading and special endings. PhonoGraphixTM students show amazing progress in a short period of time. For more information about PhonoGraphixTM, go to Readamerica.net.
