4. Why do some students have trouble with reading?
Since all students are individuals, the answer to that varies. Some students may have missed instruction due to illness and/or changing schools or districts. Some students may be unable to visualize what they read. Others may have dyslexia and other learning disablilities (which often go undiagnosed) and therefore lack the skills to segment and manipulate sounds. As a result, they often struggle in reading all of thier lives.
